High School Student Delegates Meet with Superintendent

The Cherokee County School District’s Student Advisor and Student Delegates to the School Board gathered today for their second roundtable meeting with Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis. One outstanding high school senior from each of CCSD’s high schools serves as a delegate for one school year to give input and feedback to the School Board and to the Superintendent. The delegates attend all School Board meetings and participate in roundtable meetings with the Superintendent and members of her senior staff. The Student Advisor role is rotated among high schools, and this year’s is Samantha “Sam” Stahler of Etowah HS. The delegates are: Will Rusbridge of Cherokee HS; Andrew Hammond of Creekview HS; Alex Johnson of i-Grad Virtual Academy; Lavanya Shankar of River Ridge HS; Zahira Ambriz-Villela of Sequoyah HS; and Sophia Foisy of Woodstock HS. #CCSDElevateTheExcellence
