CCSD High School Seniors Named National Merit Commended Students
Eight Cherokee County School District high school seniors have been named National Merit Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation!
The seniors are among the only 2 to 3% of the Class of 2025 honored nationwide with the recognition, which is based on the high scores the students earned on the PSAT. Although Commended Students do not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, they may earn special National Merit scholarships sponsored by corporations and businesses that will be awarded in the spring.
Congratulations to: of Cherokee HS, Martin Armbruster and Elliana Mathews; of Creekview HS, Chloe Feibus and Cade Smith; of Etowah HS, Sean Helms and Anna Knight; of River Ridge HS, Connor Schmitt; and of Woodstock HS, Caroline Toole.
