2026 North Georgia Military Recruiting Event - Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 1-4:30pm; Dobbins AFB, Marietta, GA
Teenagers and their families, as well as young adults up age 25, are invited to our North Georgia Military Recruiting Event to learn more about full- and part-time military service opportunities. Representatives from the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Space Force will be available to discuss Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve service opportunities and provide details on the type of benefits members can expect to receive by serving our nation. Attendees will also have the chance to get up close to various military aircraft, vehicles, virtual reality simulators and more, as well as to learn about future tech, engineering, medical, advanced thinking, aeronautical and other career possibilities. John B, Stetson Junior Scholarship
The John B. Stetson Junior Scholarship is a prestigious award designed to support high-achieving high school juniors in their pursuit of higher education at Stetson University. Valued at $35,000, this scholarship is contingent upon the recipient's enrollment at Stetson University in the Fall of 2027 and is intended to alleviate the financial burden of educational expenses, including but not limited to textbooks and other essential school-related costs. This scholarship signifies Stetson University's commitment to recognizing and investing in the academic potential and future success of exceptional students. What Is PhysiLink? (A Quick Guide to Using PhysiLink and Its New Features!)
PhysiLink is an open and free online platform founded by University of South Carolina students to connect pre-medical students with physicians and residents for mentorship and career exploration. Whether you’re just starting out or already on the pre-medical path, PhysiLink supports students with a range of personalized opportunities and resources. Each month, we feature a physician and a resident from different specialties through live webinars and on our website. Students can submit anonymous questions during the webinar or anytime throughout the month. We update the site monthly with new speakers while keeping all past recordings, answered questions, specialty guides, and insights easily accessible for future reference.

Bud McCall Post-Secondary Vocational Rehabilitation Grant
The Bud McCall Post-Secondary Vocational Rehabilitation Grant is awarded to students with disabilities who are seeking college or university education to prepare for employment. Individuals with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan may be a candidate for the grant and GVRA services. To be eligible, individuals must have a disability that results in a substantial impediment to employment and eligible for GVRA services.
